Member Involvement

We would like to thank all the members who have contacted us to express interest in becoming further involved with LPIS and with ideas for increasing LPIS activities in their areas.

The Executive Committee are volunteers and have limited capacity to travel around Britain setting up events & organising campaigns for the huge breadth of issues which the Irish community are passionate about. The efforts of our members in organising activities is therefore greatly appreciated.

Additionally, as members will know, LPIS have also affiliated to all Labour held CLPs throughout the UK- to help to support a growing membership beyond London and to amplify LPIS campaigns throughout the country. In these CLPs, LPIS members may also be interested in becoming an LPIS delegate- to raise knowledge and understanding of Irish Affairs.

With the support of active LPIS members across the UK we can build on the Society's mission to promote Irish issues within the Labour Party and the Labour Party to the Irish community, in places from Cornwall to Wick.
